Kinsley Group was engaged by VicTrack under a secondment arrangement to manage the construction delivery of the Clyde Road Level Crossing Upgrade to facilitate the duplication of Clyde Road. The project was funded by VicRoads and the construction works were delivered by John Holland Group. The project involved railway signalling, civil, overhead, structural, drainage and track works.

Thorough planning investigations and discussions with key stakeholders including VicRoads and Metro Trains Melbourne were required to ensure that following the level crossing duplication, the road approaches leading up to the level crossing could be completed and the level crossing could predominately remain open throughout the project delivery and operated safely.

Numerous design/construction risk workshops were facilitated and site surveillance works performed to ensure the project works were delivered safely, with minimal impacts on train and road operations and in accordance with the relevant standards and code requirements.
