Box Hill Pedestrian Bridge

Kinsley Group was engaged by VicTrack under a secondment arrangement to manage the design and construction delivery of a new pedestrian bridge in Box Hill spanning over the rail corridor between The Whitehorse Reserve and the Box Hill Cemetery. The project was funded by Public Transport Victoria and involved structural and civil engineering inputs.

Extensive consultation with a range of stakeholders including the Box Hill Cemetery Trust, City of Whitehorse, Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) and Public Transport Victoria (PTV) was required to ensure the project objectives incorporated stakeholder requirements.

Throughout the project delivery it was essential that stakeholder requirements were actioned and numerous design/construction risk workshops were facilitated and site surveillance works performed to ensure the project was delivered safely and with minimal impacts on train operations and members of the public who visited the Cemetery.
