Kinsley Group was engaged by VicTrack under a secondment arrangement to manage the design and construction delivery of a new pedestrian crossing adjacent to the Evans Road Level Crossing in Lyndhurst. The project was funded by the City of Casey Council and involved track, civil and signalling engineering inputs.

The project works were delivered by United Group Limited and included input from civil, electrical and railway signalling engineering disciplines.

Consultation with the rail operator, Metro Trains Melbourne was required to ensure the rail operator’s requirements were considered and actioned accordingly during the project delivery.

Design/construction risk workshops were also facilitated and site surveillance works performed by Kinsley Group representatives to ensure the project works were delivered safely, with minimal impacts on train operations and in accordance with the relevant standards and code requirements.
